The title is a reference to old Looney Cartoon where Bugs Bunny helps a penguin home. This is before he realizes that penguins live on the south pole. Through a sereis of misadventures all over the globe he gets to the South Pole and finds out that the penguin was born in Hoboken. One misadventure is Bugs puts the Penguin on ship called the "Admiral Byrd." While drinking a mint julip he hears two old salts talking, "There goes the Admiral Byrd bound for Brooklyn."
