Well so here is my WIP im working on my mold for my racs2.0, hes getting a more solid core nose, so i can mount not just a full muzzle fan in my muzzle rather then over my mouth hole, as well as allow for better mounting of batteries and such which will be moved to more convient spots. This mask will also allow me to open the mouth as well as it finally will have a hingeed jaw, it is likly to not have a moving jaw, but certainly a jaw where i can actually eat and drink im this new mask.
In addition to upgraded lighting , new cheek blushing LEDs and effects. I plan on a few upgrades of my LEDs. This will be documented as well once its well on its way. i have alot of plans, but i have to watch my heat and air flow parts.
A. thats my face with the base. Plaster. Thanks T4.
B. Thats the 1/4 inch base mask for clearance and allowence for padding.
C. this is the head on view of Racs, you can see the eyes, the brows, and the first cheeks, not ethat my flowing cheekswill be added later with a softer foam material to allow for better flexibility and some more alternative fur options.
D. This is the last pic i have so far you can see the upper and lower jaw very clearly.
So i am hoping as soon as i finish some fine details to get the next phase of this is done. which mean creating the negative mold. I am going to be using Smoothon products and have been using almost exclusively tutorials from the internet and Youtube. A little studying goes a long way.
Seeing is believing, There is a chance the mold could break or i could demold it too soon, but thats part of the learning process, and this is the first time i have done a mold this large, i have done a mold for smaller objects when i was 14. so alot of learning.
