So as you can see This picture 2 of my mold inprogress of my new mask, this is the first 3 layers of my molding rubber, you can see finally the detailing changes from the previous picture, my mask is a bit toony, so it have larger cheeks and much larger space for eyes and such and the mouh you can clearly see the cut line.
A is my raw clay form
B the first layer its a light layer specfically to get all the keying points.
C second layer you can see the translucency of the rubber beginning to thicken
D and the 3rd layer its starting to look like a very solid mold, i have at least another 2 layers to place on this to avoid any of the diffucultis of tearing.
So hopefully i can get ou tto get the last of my material for this. im a bit concerned about the size of this mask but i think if i am careful and make sure that i plan ahead and remember to take it one step at a time, this should create a very usuable mold for my Racs that i can use at least 2-3 times. i plan to create a few extras for later use.
