I love all the moving parts!!! Engines are so cool the way every thing moves and fits together and does it's job. Riding in the car with it is a joy as your sitting is bucket seats with racing harnesses that almost look like over sized toddler car seats.

Oh, the joys of setting valve lash. Hope you didn't get enamel on the contact points between the pushrods, rockers, and valves.

they were baked prior to fitting to the shaft and all the contact area's are devoid of paint. and yes the joys of setting the tappets.. always seem to loose skin on my knuckles on the bloody things..

it's a way of painting them so they look cool... Stove Enameling helps to cure the paint so it won't come off... makes it part of the metal. OR so that's the idea... Jester would know more about it. HUGS!

plus they were fitted with 1.3:1 offset bushes. so painting them shows its been modified.. and i liked them that way.. i did two sets in the end so i could have one set in a display thing on my wall at home..
