TEMPEST STORM
is the main character, a young coyote seraph who some suspect may have an ancient power- one many would kill for. Simply goes by her last name, "Storm". She's overzealous and a bit too prideful for her own good- but she's got unrivaled determination and can think outside the box.
UMEE STORM
is Storm's little brother, who is naive and trusting. His element is earth. (Note, he's subject to another design change before his appearance in the story.)
JAYSON AURELIA
is Storm's literature teacher. He's a fresh, young albino coyote seraph and his element is water. He's bored by magic and thinks real power rests in knowledge. He can be nerdy and socially awkward. As a pup, he lost his parents and grew up on his own, eventually "adopting" another orphan as his little sister. The two were taken in by Aree Storm and given a place to stay with her family.
NELLA AURELIA
is Jayson's "sister". Infamous among adults as a first-class troublemaker, but nobody can ever manage to stack solid evidence against her- after all, this little leopard is blind. She's Storm's best friend in the whole wide world, and would do anything for her.
HURRICANE STORM
is Storm's father, one of the headmasters at Elis Academy, the Seraphim race's prime school of the elements. He also doubles as battle studies teacher- but you'd never guess it by his laid-back, gentle demeanor. But don't test him- or else sparks will start flying!
BALTHAZAAR DRAKONE
is the king of the Seraphim. Just, merciful, and social- the quintessential good king. He and Hurricane go back a long time, and though he doesn't like to admit it, Hurricane indirectly influences most political decisions in the kingdom.
