Ever heard of the Kinsey Scale? I only found it recently and thought it was really interesting. So I thought, "How can I apply this to something else?" And we now have this trope produced in front of you.

The idea of the Kinsey scale was that all people are neither exclusively homosexual, or exclusively heterosexual. That they all fall under 1 through 5 based on the level of interest/behavior.
In this case, 1-5 are levels of interest in the furry universe. (Though MAYBE it is possible to be a 0, but you'd also be a miserly stick in the mud if you were)
