Just by looking at it at a very low resolution it kinda reminded me of a thing i did during kindergarden.
First you completley fill a sheet of payper with crayon and then cover it all with black lacquer.
The picture is now drawn using a sharp piece by removing the lacquer making the crayon colors visible again.
Those pictures had a very similar look to what you've drawn here.
