A seaserpent, which jaws (well, a baby seaserpent’s jaws) are seen in this: http://hurtanminttu.tumblr.com/post.....-said-the-same
They’re basically deep sea monsters that proactively eat anything they see all the time, including dragons and giant orthocones.

This is a gorgeous digital piece, and exactly the kind of horrific image I love out of you, mister RasberryMaggot. The sleek fear of it's jaws and upper body are so disturbingly emphasized by the feeling of weight and huge mass I find the huge belly imparts. The little 'crinkle' of flesh at the nook of the bend that the tail makes off of this wider part of the body is a particularly aesthetically pleasing feature of this work.
Most deserving of mention though, is how the tail loses focus out in the background.. It is a grand way to convey the feelings one would have seeing the vicious head of this animal, and the huge mass of it's body rolling the waves; confusion, panic, fear, almost all feel like lies when I see the huge length of tail off in the darkness behind this creature's vile face.
Yessir, it is a lovely piece. So well done. The ugly pink highlights... Pretty !
