Well, er.. I never really thought about it... it's just what the Good Fairy says:

I think the closest thing we have to those is like...a "Snooki"...yeah. So...replace "goon" with "Snooki" and you probably have got it. :3

Well, faeries follow their own rules, and I'm not bopping any mice ... but in the Disney version the bunny gets goonified just for kissing 'em! I don't think that's fair, but who knows with faeries?
Yes, picking up cute little mousies and huggling them and kissing them onna head is fun to do, and the mousies like it! Unless you're their Aunt Irma. Which I'm not. :)
But the story specifically says the bunny gets turned into a Goon! I don't know what that is, so I don't know if it's fun! I don't think so, though!
