Now that the real life Summer Olympic Games are underway in London, I am proud to present the first in a new series of "Roly-Polympics" cartoon gags...
Since the first week is devoted to swimming and diving, I've chosen a follow-up gag to my original 'platform diving' event - but this time, with a full-figured female athlete. In this case, a voluminous vixen appears at the venue.
Of course, the platform can only support just so much weight (as the cracks behind the diver will confirm); so for added insurance, a pair of apes support the platform (as the cracks underneath the lower primate confirms)!
I was originally going to include a small squirrel handyman - with a bucket of cement and a trowel, to make repairs on the platform - but I didn't want to make this picture too complicated.
Anyway, I'll be posting more brand-new "Roly-Polympics" cartoon gags during the course of the next 2.5 weeks (coinciding with the Games of the XXX Olympiad),. Your 'feedback' on my artwork, as always, is welcome!

Actually, I was preparing another cartoon gag involving a groundskeeper refilling a smaller hazard with water, for the 'steeplechase event' (if I ever get around to drawing it).
