Your work always makes me want to frame it and hang it on my wall, haha.
Also, Your felines seem to have a tendency to always be drinking something, it works for them though. Just something i noticed. ^^
One more thing (and possibly an annoying question on my part), do you have something in store for shark week? o-o I don't think I've ever seen a shark from you.

It's true, everyone's always drinking! Fortunately there won't be anymore for a while in my upcoming work ;p!
I haven't heard of shark week but a quick Google tells me it's something the Discovery channel runs, is that the right one? I don't think I'll get anything done in time for it this time but I'll totally get some sharks in my gallery at some point!

No more drinking in your newest work? Aww, now Mystery and intrigue abound!
And yeah it's a long running thing they do every year dedicated to sharks. It's not a required draw or anything though haha, I was just trying to give an excuse to see sharks done in your styling. Shame on me i know xD.
Hope you and Faelourn are doing well!

I'm glad you like!
The originals are quite dark but never as dark as the digital version. They always seem to need that extra boost when up on the screen, whereas the original versions don't seem to!
And yes, there is a distinct lack of peeps working in pencils these days. It'd be great to see more!

Oh goodness! A Siamese cat <3 ouo They're so lovely; it's great seeing one from you. X3 Love the giant single earring she has. :3 That partnered with her drinking reminds me of pirates for some odd reason. Random unrelated to the art note. XD
Stunning work as always. <3 I love your felines. ;o;

Cheers Ko! I'm surprised I hadn't got a Siamese in my gallery already! And it probably isn't such a surprise you relate parts to pirates, I'd love to do some all out pirate themed stuff!...So I guess I probably will :P
But yeah, there isn't a lack of felines on the horizon, probably a little too many, so it's good you like them!

I don't even know what to say about this piece or anything else you do anymore Bubble. I get very emotional over art sometimes. I will love a piece because of the skill in its execution or style or because its just plain beautiful. I especially love work that evokes strong emotion. I love clicking on a piece that can instantly brings a smile to my face ....or make me cry, whether it be joy or sadness. The skill, style and beauty of your work, needless to say, is overwhelming but when it comes to the emotion part, it goes beyond the emotion or mood the piece itself conveys but seemingly the emotion that you the artist has gone after the piece with and thus giving it a life of its own. I know that probably doesn't make much sense, hmm, maybe what I'm trying to say is that it appears that you have an emotional feel for a piece while executing it and it shows.
I know my knowledge of the art world is rather narrow but i know what I like. There is only one or two other artists that I am familiar with that seem to create with emotion rather than just trying to convey it. I dearly love their work but they are mainly digital where I will forever be a traditional fan. And let's not mention that grayscale, especially graphite is what really turns my crank <3 !
And yeah, this piece did make me tear up a bit. No words to describe how I feel about this piece otherwise.

Ahh Teiirka it's great to get such an emotional response! You definitely are one of the most passionate artists around I know :-]
I do agree that when an artist has a love for working in a certain subject, it can, and hopefully does come through to those viewing it! Infact there's no 'hopefully' about it, as your own work is a perfect example of that, so I'm glad you find it in mine too.
And as far as digital and traditional go: I love digital, but traditional work just has something about it, just a feel that I probably couldn't describe if I tried. But anyway, your love for traditional definitely doesn't need to be said with your skill!!

Well hopefully you'll see one some day! If and when I do open for commissions, I'll always give those who expressed interest first refusal :-]!
As far as thinking up a comment that wasn't overused, I think you just did it :D. Anyway, you could say the same thing about every one of my images and I'd appreciate it all the same so never ever worry about that!
