Again, yes I know the coloring is horrible... but I'm really hoping somebody might help give me advice on coloring with the markers.

I'm having trouble blending the darker colors, I can never get the colors to mix properly. Even starting with the lighter colors and using the darker colors to blend, not to mention it makes the black outline inks bleed as you can see on her wings.

And even the streaks, I've been watching videos I've seen people doing swirly motions with it, I still see alot of the streak marks.

As far as the bleeding, is it possibly the paper I'm using? I'm using HP Matte paper vs. usually computer printer paper that I normally use.


The drawing of Rainbow Dash herself, yeah....I think she looks more like a Sonic character then a pony.


And if you're wondering why I'm uploading it even if I'm not pleased with the picture, I spend time on it and I do upload mostly anything that is at least in the coloring stage, even if it's not completed.
