I share similar feelings. However I don't necessarily hate them, but it's kind of like "oh pretty....well..no, not so pretty..." When I consider the inbreeding. Orange tiggies are best. I always feel a bit sorry for white tigers. it's like , "Hey your aunt was fucked by your dad so we could get you!"
last year, I read where a white cub was born to what was thought to be pure bred siberian tigers. It was not an albono and had the black stripes and blue eyes found on white bengals but has siberian traits. Granted, it is captive bred but they were looking into the family history.
You white tigers are NOT "severely inbred" anymore than almost any zoo born animal or race horses or new breeds of cats or dogs. White tigers still, on very rare occasions, are born in the wild and a white cub with black stripes and blue eyes was born sometime back to a supposedly pure bred siberian pair. That is being looked into.

I guess this was directed at me.
Their optic nerve is always wired on the wrong side, and is something that can't be bred out as the same gene causes the white pelt.
They have a lot of miscarriages and a reduced fertility.
The mothers will often eat or crush their white coloured offspring and leave the normal one be.
They are a mix between the amur and the bengal and has no conservation purpose
They have a lot of bone problems.
As well as being larger, their pelt gives them no camouflage against the animals they hunt. So most starve to death in the wild.

Hmmm. Your right, I'm old too and I should have known better than to argue with those groups. I've done it before over the same issue and it alway infuriates them. But it also irks me when I see them try to perpetuate their inaccuracies.
