I love how happy the Basilisk looks in this scene. He's so cute.
This page ALSO took ages. . . .
Thanks for bearing with us, guys. These pages are very time-consuming, but we'll be getting to less taxing scenes eventually.
Red Lantern - Conviction is a comic by

Myenia, which will be posted right here on FA, and eventually (once we've fixed the dang site) at http://www.red-lantern.net/ over the course of 2012-2013. Pages will update on Mondays, from this point on.

I guess I meant a different style or something to show that it's whispering. The text and bubbles are big, bold and in capitals, just like the rest of the dialogue, and the only way to show it's different is with a blue background and a following character comment. It's just a little confusing to read at first, ya know?
So much to say about this page ... Where to start! =)
I admire the personalities of the Drakes of course! If they were not at war or pissed off about something, I get this feeling that they would be an interesting people to meet.
This might not be a good time to mention it but I'm gonna say it anyways ... Dem paws! =)
I like the design of the Basilisk! Did it go through a number of design attempts or did it pretty much turn out right on the first try?
I doubt I'm the only one thinking there should be rule 34 of that Basilisk! <3

I would've thought they'd go for a capture rather than a tear to pieces or crush to mush approach, as those poor scouts could be taking the places of tributes 1 & 2 ;) (later to be rescued of course! Yay mammals! Boo scalies! ... or something) :D
Also, loving the new icon :D

Firstly, I would just like to say that I absolutely love being able to see the size difference between characters depicted in this way. The claw:face ratio is just a bit amazing and definitely gets it across that Mr. Lizard isn't someone you want to screw around with. Not that his rise from the foliage didn't imply that already, but I think this page just adds to the overall surprise/fear of the scenario... And in my eyes the size just adds to the impending doom, giving it just a little extra kick of "yowch". :) Very nicely done.
Aside from that, while I adore Amon, I am thoroughly enjoying seeing the others and what's happening elsewhere in full-force. Sometimes it feels like only a specific character has the devotion it needs from it's author, but showing everyone else is just kinda helping to cement the feeling that there are no small roles in this story and that the author really put a great deal of thought into developing the sticklike and the characters involved. It isn't often I find a comic this thoroughly engaging on all fronts... I'm thrilled I found one in this. :)
It's refreshing to find something where you can tell the creators aren't only putting effort into the sexual scenes; and where those scenes aren't even necessary to the continuity (for the most part). This comics is simply surprising -- in a good way -- on all fronts. :3 So thank you both for that, and for deciding to share with the rest of us.
