I'm such a doofus D: If I had waited a few days on the last Pokemon cosplay art...I would have known that the next main character after the Crysta arc....was the Ruby arc >.< Sure Ruby fit as Whitney well due to her pigtails, but there's a character actually named Ruby as a main character which would have made that art so much tighter XD

Anywho, one night while snacking on chocolate catnip balls, Crystal was explaining the Pokemon Adventures comic to Flair, when she hit upon the part where Sapphire and Ruby started a competition where Sapphire had to beat all the gym leaders, while Sapphire had to beat all the Pokemon Contests within 80 days. Unfortunately...Flair was tipsy enough and thought this meant it was an excuse to get into fights with people and jumped at the chance without getting the details on it XP
Grabbing Ruby, she got them into their costumes and set off on their journey XD
