Here's a thingy. This is one of the songs I messed around with in LMMS. I didn't actually invent this song, nor did I invent this character. But I have drawn/composed the two to create something I feel is quite epic.
So Na Chuva is the music to one of my bossman's levels in that there game of his. I'll just say that this is based off of
rainchu and
yure16 respectively.
I've mixed this song up about three times now, so I figured I might as well reinvent the thing in FL Studio. I kind of like the old sound of it. Yure, I couldn't possibly go too crazy when playing around with your tunes. :3 ...But I might've on this one. xD I even kind of added a bit of the next level's melody, which I still happen to be working on. A third theme anyway. I had fun with this sucker. It was neat to listen to stuff essentially transferred from LMMS to FL. Essentially is the keyword here. There was 0 copy paste nonsense. I remade everything by scratch. And it was actually a lot funner than it sounds.

Don't worry, Yure. You're the inspirer here, you always manage to inspire me with your tunes. Just have faith that you'll get past your block. Wait a bit, drink some coffee or catnip tea, and make a song. I don't care if it's a good or bad song, because you can't make a cake without breaking eggs. Or, you can't make a game without doing more work than is required.
Look, Yure x3 I code all the time, but I only keep about 15% of what I write. Remember all those months I spent on random levels? I wrote them from the start, knowing they might not work. They didn't. I discarded them. It hurt to delete it, but the work was not wasted, it bettered me as a coder, the experience is still with me, and, what's more, the game has become better. I know that random levels don't work for this game.
Remember when I was all excited about dialog and NPCs? And we tried it, but it didn't work. I scrapped it.
So, your job now is to design some music for the next area. If it's good enough, we'll use it. If it's not, we'll still probably end up using it somehow, even if that use is to listen to as we work.
Check the world map in /trunk/Ideas. It's labeled as Pit. I was thinking a ghost theme with jelly stuck places you sink into, or possibly a haunted cave or den. It might change to something other than a cave, after all, Bone Crater is a cave. That's why I need you to make a song for it.
Imagine a ghostly, dark place, that the Crater leads to. Think about the music. Write music for it. Your music will inspire the level.
And when it's done, give it to me whether you like it or not x3
Edit: Replied to myself? so reposted x3;

I NEED this in the game. How much will that cost? Actual License to FL? Three months, all expenses paid to redo it in LMMS? Whatever it takes, I need this.
You know, the music builds, and builds, then boss, then ka-pow, then...? The music stays. THIS is what it should be like when the boss is defeated. I'm thinking the evil will be removed from the area, the sky is blue... less clouds. no rain. Sound good?
Epic job, Mnesia! This is easily the best music yet. And I LOVE how you worked in a touch of Obsidiana Chorona.
