One of my favorite animals that are not often recognized is the maned wolf. It’s not always easy painting a maned wolf without it looking like a fox considering they have similar markings. I titled this one “Elementalist” based off a role-playing character I had in “Earth Dawn”. I always thought it would be neat to be something much like a magician but able to use magic that specializes in the 4 elements.

I've always liked the notion that mages=scientists for role-playing games, to the extent that even in worlds where magic is possible, the wizards should be experimenting and theorising and generally trying to understand the world better.
