This is my contest entry for  acaris contest on DeviantArt which can be found here! It is about designing a different alter ego or fursona, if you want to call it that, for Acaris. Now for an actual description:

The idea for this species is solely based on the fact that I wanted to draw something with huge flopped antennas and so I did. From there on it slowly started to evolve. I wanted to use bug-like features but didn't want to turn it into one. That's when I started to add a little bit of dragon to the mix. So basically her skin consists of scales of three different colors. The dark brown parts are actually horn plates. Her limbs are fairly long, conforming her body at a height of 2.30m (7'6''), which results in a very slender look. Yet she's very flexible and combined with the gripping ability of her feet, it also makes for a very good climber. I wanted to make her eyes really special and I think I got kinda carried away on that one. For the color palette in general, I kept it close to the original Acaris, choosing a darker brownish look. Oh and she can poke stuff with her tail :D

Well, that's all I have to say. I kinda like that species, might give it a name someday.
