A dense fog began to lift from the forest that midsummer. The air, a volitle mixture of tension and manic energy had begun to swirl and glisten in wondrous huse of red and gold. This was a special day, one of just a handful of days when a mortal being may witness such natural splendor. Natives believed it was days like these when magic seemed almost tangible. Some say tgey witnessed Ethereal rays of liquid gold which fell from the sky, speckling the forest floor and illuminating the forest from. Such witnessed magnificence served only to heighten the sense of fantastic exhilaration such places held in the hearts of those whom experienced the glimpses into this other world.
The sun had peaked above the distant mountains now, and the mists began to swirl and flow as eddy currents built within them. Some believed it was the work of mystical creatures lurking about in the mists. Others disregard any such possibilities. Who knows... but one thing for sure, on this particular enchanted morning, a chance encounter occurred within the forests depths, and one might have said the mists there were particularly beautiful. Perhaps it was the fantastical creatures of lore within the forest that provided this otherworldly beauty.
Unbenounced to the world of humans, a spark had ignited between two kindred spirits.
