A BC Rail C40-8M locomotive leads a Canadian National transfer freight through downtown Chicago's South Loop area on a chilly night. Who would have guessed 10 years ago that this workhorse of British Columbia's mountain rails would find itself in the Windy City?

I think this loco is Chicago or at least Midwest based now.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7006442/ That as taken Dec 7 2011 on the east leads to Glenn Yard, The trucking company I drive for is right next the tracks. I haven't see this loco for a while here, but I have seen it regularly , usually as the 2nd or 3rd unit in a 4 unit lash up Running thru Hobart and Gary In

So, this is on the SCAL, then? Lovely framing, or timing, I suppose. Yeah, interesting what you find out there. I saw one of these in Champaign while moving my mate up here, although I didn't really have a chance to get a picture, and it was at night anyway. But I did manage to catch another Canadian diesel. And a second time. [url=http://www.furaffinity.net/full/9038885/And a third, similar to yours.[/url]
