9.5 x 12 color pencil and a wee bit of copics
Surprisingly, this photo came out fairly true to color with the exception of shadows and shading not being as dark as they should be. The piece is also much brighter than it should be. I will get a high rez scan soon.
A lot of experimentation on this one and I am reasonably happy with the results but I'm sure I missed something.
Yeah, drunk and lamenting lost love....or to inebriated to sit up and reach the dangly pull cord to turn out the light. :)

Thanks! Yeah, I kind'a like doing fur detailing if you hadn't noticed before. Sort of obsessive really. The fabric detailing was fun. hadn't done it quite so extensive before though.
Hey! I noticed you don't have a weasel account and was wondering if you would like an invite? It has been somewhat flooded with a bit more novice art of late but also hosts some very fine artists. It also has some rather nice features and a nice feel about it and new features are being added regularly. It is currently in beta and is by invite only right now but if you would like one, I can supply one.
BTW, have you thought about another art auction any time soon? I want another crack at one. :)

Oh, btw, on Weasyl , the colors of art posts (mine anyway) come out darker and much truer to LR than FA. Resolution maybe. check out this and compare, https://www.weasyl.com/submission/46335 ,same exact camera shot.

great expression, great body language, great fur and colours. gorgeous bedroom, and gorgerous atmosphere.
I'm also amazed that you managed to keep contrasts and "edges" with pencil lines and extensive colour. I always have to rework the pencil lines during the colouring... surely a matter of drawing technique.
side note: I found out that the stars on Faber colour pencils depicts the lightfastness. and my manganese violet pencil has but one scrawny little star... no idea if that has the effect you described, though.
