Oh gosh, I didn't time myself. I'd say.. 6-10 hours total, but I'm pretty ADD sometimes so I work for maybe 15 minutes then I get distracted for 15 minutes... It can be rather impossible to time my work XD

The idea of doing every little fur strand makes me feel frustrated xD; I wish I had the patience and skill to do things like this.

It's actually not so difficult once your hand gets used to the motion, muscle memory is great. I don't really have to think about it very much, my hand is trained to do the motion(s) quickly and my mind works out the prime locations for detailing :D

Indeed! It's first learning how fur works where on what and then training the mind and hand to do fur accurately that's the bitch part. I don't actually think about a lot of my drawings, sorta. I feel them. >.>; If ya know what I mean. I'll take a look at them and look at proportions and stuff and sometimes using my fingers to measure helps get a feel for accuracy 'n stuff but generally I eyeball proportions and details better than I can measure them out like a lot of people do the thumb-pencil trick. It's instinctual. xD; All of my drawings are pretty much instinctual after I've absorbed enough information from other artists' works into mah skull. o.o;
