In keeping with my Chinese(stemming mostly from)the infamous Shaolin Temple is the traditional phrase used there."Āmítuó Fó (阿彌陀佛)" literally translates as "The Buddha of Infinite Light."but it's used before any training,and as a way to say "hello","goodbye","thanks/thank you",and "you're welcome".
