yay for the beast!

I never thought the "beast" was ugly...I just thought he was like A big Werewolf type creature, or rugged, and chicks dig Rugged men in some cases.

I never thought he was ugly either, if anything, my brother and I (and many others) think he looks better as a beast. I personally think he's gorgeous.

I always perferred Beast to Prince Marcus

Its ironic that this was posted in december. According to Disney, Prince Marcus was transformed into the Beast on Christmas night.

I do not consider most Disney sequels to be cannon, Enchanted Christmas is one of them.

well Enchanted Christmas wasn't really a sequel. The movie itself was merely an extension of the first movie's plot, like a story within a story.

I thought the Beast's real name was Adam, according to some sources...

They did a bit in Enchanted Christmas. Right after the prince slammed the door on the old hag after she asked for shelter in exchange for a rose, in a flash of light the hag revealed herself as the Enchantress. She scolded the prince for being deceived by mere appearances, and it shows him being transformed into the Beast to match his cold and careless heart, and she placed all who lived under his house under the same curse.
