12 x 12 HB pencil another 2 or 3 more with the business end of the mace. (War hammer was not a very wieldy weapon.)
Like BH 1/2, I was wanting to keep it lined and detailed to a minimum. Like usual, it didn't happen. Was just having to much fun with it. Still could be going at it but I made myself stop.
This piece, combined with Belgian Heavies, will be colored. When I do it in color pencil, it will loose some of it's toony appearance whether I it to or not.

great muscle work, and the armoury could really work that way. like the serious expression and how he flicks his tail.
and the scale mail pieces... your patience with details like these is mind-numbing.
side note: I think both' hooves and end joints could use some work-over. it looks a little bit too "stumpy" to me. then again, the feathering around the feet might obscure it.

Wow indeed! What lovely pencil work you do! The armor is so cool and the dragon scale looks good on horses. Excellent muscling and feathering at the ankles and wrists. And I really like how the mace feels like it's just about to swing around and catch you. Cannot wait to see the rest.
