As I walk along the beach, the sun's warmth caressing the sand water so it's just the right temperature against my thick, padded feet, I notice a stray coconut and pick it up. Rolling it in my hand as I take a slow, causal stroll. Every so often I flick the furry fruit, I imagine holding his hand in mine. The firm, yet furry form I miss to hold.
As I'm half way down the beach, I turn my muzzle towards the ocean, staring far and wide, knowing he's there, so far away. Yet, I know someday we'll be together again. Holding hands on this beach, nothing but a tight speedo on our bods as I imagine his warmth, his smile, the shine in his eyes. For in my heart, that someday, we'll be with each other again.
