Y'know, there's nothin' quite like Christmas. It stops a bloke and makes him look around at others. It's a season of givin', of caring, of love and of hope for all mankind. All because, over two thousan' years ago, God so loved us that he'd send his one and only son down t'live and suffer among us as a man.
I couldn't ask fer a more wonderful gift. Jesus were born t'nobodies, not to a king or lord or rich folks, no, to normal folk like you'n me. Born in a stable, as the inns were full, and attended by angels an' shepards, who would'a known that such a lowly little thing as a baby boy bein' born could give hope to the entire world.
Sadly, when I moved t'California, I lost my nativity set, but, that don't stop me from usin' my imagination. Christmas is a right wonderful time, and I wish all you folk the best of times, whether y'believe or not. I love ya, God loves ya, and, even when it don't feel like it, others love ya too.
Have yourself the merriest Christmas, no matter yer situation. Be ya surrounded by family and loved ones, or by yourself b'cause of a job or something what took you far from home, just think of all th'blessings you have, and smile. An' don't be frettin' about gifts. After all, as the reason for Christmas shows us, the best gifts in life are often free, and given of love.

There you are! :0D I've missed your artist's art terribly. This pic is sweet, and if I lived closer I'd lend you my nativity set. It takes a while to set up, though, cause I've got animals, animals, animals! :0)
See..the way I figure it - The Christmas Story is also biblical and historical proof that (in general) animals have always been more forgiving and caring than humans (unfortunately I think it's still that way today :0P)
But yeah, I got the tradition cows and donkey and sheep, but then I got dogs, cats, goats, turkeys, ducks, deer, a fox, and the list goes on. (I even have bats, since there has been some historical speculatoin that the manger may have been built into some sort of low rocky overhang).
You have yourself the happiest of Christmases, mate - and even if ya may be far away from family and/or friends - you always got buds here. :0) *wag*

Im atheist, so im not sure about the whole story of baby jesus and whatnot, but regardless of wether the reason of christmas is a religious one or not, christmas does seem to make you look at the others around you (though im rarely happy with what i see) and think about what a random little gift from you would do to their christmas X3

Fun little fact, even though christmas is celebrated as the birth of Jesus Christ...Jesus was not born on christmas...infact he wasn't even born in the winter; he was most likely born in September or march.
