You are correct sir!!
The Hammer Symbol, I think, is a Direct reference to the latter half of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" where Pink becomes a Dictator under that Same symbol.
Some REALLY good music happens in that part, too. Starts with Comfortably Numb, then the Reprise of Thin Ice, then Run Like Hell, then into Crazy, then Tear Down the Wall, and the movie's over :3
