That is not to say that bullies should not be treated as criminals, we need harsher penalties for "bullying" for things like theft, mugging, etc. using the word "Bullying" for that is bullshit.
Makes a severe criminal act seem immature, I don't care if they are kids, age 8 is the age of reason, and as such, the age of consequence

Was going to say, having regrets doesn't change anything about the fact that bullies effectively ruin other children's lives.
What really annoys me is the lack of purpose though, I just can't see any reason to be tolerant over someone who makes someone else feel miserable for the sole purpose of feeling better, that's, like, the lowest of low, it doesn't even serve a twisted sense of survival, it's just a matter of getting some egoistical sense of self-gratification at the expense of someone else and god does it grind my gears.

Poor Gem! We all knew Nev was bad news. Now we know Gem got out of the well at some point (unless the rest of her life has been a hallucination she had whilst dying of starvation at the bottom of the well, but that's unlikely), so the next question is how did she get out? Climbing doesn't seem like it's going to work, so does she get rescued, perhaps by her friends? Perhaps they followed Nev and his gang, suspecting they were up to no good? Perhaps they followed Gem, knowing Nev would probably try something? Or does Gem do something ingenious to get herself out of there? Tune in NEXT YEAR and find out! :)

If that well weren't so wide you could have put your back against the wall and climbed up pressing your hands on the opposite side. I remember that trick from The Emperor's New Groove. What a bunch of sadists Dev and his lot are. If preteen Rasile were here, he'd bash the lot of them.
Discovered Found today, and this page really set me off. So close to childhood. I was 12 when a similar event happened to me. I had just moved from Denver to Phoenix at the time, and I was new to the school, so I didn't really fit in among the students. One of the 'cool' boys at the school invited me to his band of guys and they said I would have to go through an initiation to join them. Well, being the trusting guy I WAS, I went with them. They took me to an abandoned stretch of road and told me that I had to find an item they put out in the desert near the road, and they gave me a map to find it. I can never forget this moment in my life, the time I nearly died wandering for nearly 4 days in the desert in November. Since then I became anti-social and don't trust anyone, not even my own parents (which is sad because they don't fully understand me). However, what I did afterwards was I became stronger and when I was a freshman in high school, I saw him, and his goons, and he saw me, and because I looked different, he didn't recognize me. He asked me to join him because I could take on some of the weaker kids, and, seeking revenge, I agreed. I told him that I wanted to take him on a trip a couple of days later and he agreed. Where did I take him? The same stretch of road he brought me to. He suddenly realized who I was when I said I had been left in the desert for 4 days. Boy was he scared, and when he saw me again the next day at school, he asked me to forgive him and that he was really sorry for everything. I forgave him, sorta at least, still didn't stop me from giving him a well deserved punch in the face. I still laugh at that now, because he had a black eye and a broken nose afterwards.
Yep, another life story of mine.
