Part of making a name for yourself is branding and marketing your name. You need to have a name you go by and consistent design. You can vary it a bit, but really want to stick to a theme where you can.
I just had this rubber stamp made up that is self inking/contained and will be used to mark the back of sketchbook / commissions. You can get them made online fairly inexpensively. I paid $40 for this stamp on rubber with laser engraving in the 2" diameter self inking style plus shipping. You can get them for less for fewer features.

An excellent idea.
I can't beging to tell you the number of times i want to complement / pass on the name of an artist who did sketchbook work for me and either A) didn't sign it, B) has some undecypherable nickname, or C) illegible handwriting / signature.
