I was contacted by http://a-lover-of-dragons.sofurry.com/ to rewrite a failed story of his that is posted on a different site. He gave up writing it after three chapters that consisted of a total wordcount of 1200 ish, and a poor response. My first task was to rewrite those three chapters, keeping everything that he had put there in, but adding depth and feeling from briefs and notes he emailed me. The result is what follows.
As he is happy with the result, he then asked me to continue, and Chapter 4 is well underway to be completed soon.
