30yrs old and IIRC this was the first white christmas that I've had. And its rare for AR to get much snow esp that early in winter. Interesting how the climate change turned the jetstreams enough to skip snow in Chicago but dump it across the midwest and up the Appalachian Mtns.

Hmm, dont have it. Cahaba Valley/Oak Mtn area or less south of Bham?

Drove straight thru Bham up 65 from Montgomery to the future I22 corridor to Memphis. Its the route i take each time.

One reason why I wanted out of FL. Tho this storm was out of the norm for here. Started as freezing rain, then sleet, then thick heavy snow. Totaled 17in nearby. Snapped many trees and power lines. Still snow on the ground when i left 5 days later to go back to FL.
