Presumably for the same reason everyone hated Oshawott - what that reason actually is, I don't know, but...

Frankly, I like the look of Chespin - not enough to choose it, but I like it.

Chespin is also my favorite :3 i disliked the idea of the 3ds, but with black and white 1/2 and cave story 3d, i might pick up a second hand one
