i honestly had to search it up for myself.... which is bad seeing as i have the equivelant of a master's in daemonology.... turns out it is not an actual spirit, though it does have a connection with the stone garnet, so it may have relations as a name for that spirit but it is not a separate entity =3
Just thought of looking it up to see if there was any mythology for it to have been based on. :3
Though I wonder if they had a name and the people calling it that only did cause of the jewel, of course even if what little I found on them was rubbish the idea of stones themselves have a life/spirit of their own is always fun. ^^
