Another Scene from Grub: the Movie
My deranged imagination has been bugging me with this one for months. This is a sequel to this one. 
grub. is the last plushie standing after a fight with ... who or what? The enemy is unknown. The blue plushie dragon (character of a friend) is getting 
Gem to safety. Caramel the snow leopard is my plushie, and she doesn't like the odds. Grub's friends Star and Spring aren't doing the greatest, but they'll be ok after they get some rest.
I imagine the climactic final battle of the film happens right after this scene.
(I used Sai for the artwork and Manga Studio for the dialogue balloons, but the first time I tried this, Manga Studio did weird things with scaling the image, resulting in the artwork becoming a bit blurry. I've tweaked things and re-uploaded what I hope is a less blurry image. Hit F5 to make sure you're seeing the fixed upload.)

Yes there is mild and also extremely vague peril!
I am sure that everything will turn out all right -- although I still don't know what exactly the movie is about. :)
Grub's smile and eye position are legendary so they're not going to change unless something really dire happens. Like, maybe, the next scene. Whatever it is. I still have no ideas. :)

You inspired me to do this with your Plush Cafe cartoons -- I wanted to think of some way to get Nimbus into one of these, then I thought, well, Nimbus has wings so he can fly, and Grub can't, so what's something cool he could be doing? I know, Grub could tell him to save Gem, and there would be teamwork and saving squirrels in danger and good stuff like that! So that's how the idea happened.
Yes, Star Grub has his unicycle and it has a pedal this time! Not that he has any feet to push it with. I suppose whatever powers he has that let him ride a unicycle might be useful in battle, but this opponent is just too powerful (whoever or whatever it is). I didn't have names for the extra Grubs in the previous scene, but I thought of them after, and I wanted at least some of them to appear again.
I'm not sure how many dorsal plates (at least I think that's what they're called) Nimbus has, but I made sure these followed a progression of hues. I tried hard to get him right. :)

That's true, Star got knocked off his unicycle! Knocked silly (or sillier maybe), it looks like. But he'll be OK given a few minutes to recover.
That's right, Grub will show him what for ... whoever he is. :) I think it's funny that we don't know and if this story is ever fully fleshed out, I think it would be super funny if it's never explained exactly who the enemy is. :) I've got a strange sense of humor.
