you know, with the body structure of a sergal, i often what kinds of weapons they could comfortably be armed with, my first thoughts on something that might be a little awkward would be a longbow/shortbow/compound bow because their shoulders don't seem quite positioned in a way to properly hold one, crossbows i think would work, but it leads me to assume that if they got a hold of them, that it was from an outside source because i don't think they'd have ever had functional access to the previously mentioned simpler bows... unless perhaps they ever designed a ballista and shrunk it down to a more comfortable size...
bolas seem like they'd be a wierd option, too because i rarely see a sergal with its arms far above its head to throw something, leading me to believe they would be forced to throw them in a manner that would be more inclined to hit airborned targets and not take the legs out from under something running like they're more commonly seen in use (vertical throw instead of horizontal)
and i have this feeling a sling would be a good choice... or perhaps a slingshot...
