I actually rehabilitated a wild one whose leg was shattered by a @#$ing redneck neighbor's BB gun. Had to bind his wings to keep himself from thrashing in addition to splinting his leg, fed and bathed him frequently over a couple weeks, then let him go. He was happy to go free of course, but after that he would always come to me to eat out of my hand (he'd never come up to do that with anyone previous to this; for some reason drakes seem much more shy than the girls).
