I'm not a construction type person, so I can't do a lot of stuff myself and don't have the cash to get a contractor to do it either. So I am stuck in an unfinished house.

Ah, so it's a sort of half-storey? The point I was wondering about is the walls look unfinished, just bare insulation.

The contractor basically took the insurance money and never finshed my house. It's a sore subject and don't like to talk about it.
