This reminds me of some of the airshows I've been to where the SR-71 showed up for a demonstration. (One of the few times I've seen Thrust rings out the exhaust too.) I've been told if the Blackbird comes in at night, just a little too steep and fast, all the leading edges glow a bright cherry red. I've always wanted to see that.
