This picture is my contribution for our dragon calendar - Draci.info 2013. I am happy I finished some bigger picture after such a long time. This one took many, many hours but it was a great practise with using only coloured pencils without any underpaint. And of course I was looking at several photos of nature while drawing this. I hope you'll enjoy it at least a bit! :]
Polychromos pencils, colorless blender, pencil. Drawn in 2012.

This is so beautiful! It will be a major inspirational piece for me. :D
Colorless blender like used with Copic markers? I use Polychromos and my last completed piece, for the first time, (not posted yet) also had Copics applied after the majority of pencil was laid down but I never tried the blender on color pencil before. Tell me a little bit about it? :)

Thx so much!
It's not exactly the same like with Copics, since this is not a wet medium. You can use it for blending different colours (like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcvyWN3XSUk but more layers works better) or also to get rid of graininess which appears on some kind of papers. That's how I use it most of time :)

Hello, I like to share other artist work through journals, and I was wondering if it is okay in the next journal (here on furaffinity), if I share this piece? It will be this link leading directly back to this one, so full credit is yours. I also will notify you with the journal's link once the FA journal has been posted :)

You're welcome, friend.
I just had to have courage, and take that literal leap of faith.
I'm not afraid to say when I get scared, as it's natural and can even be a good thing, even for the strongest creatures, like us Dragons.
Even a Dragon, and a King at that, has a fear of some kind, though in the interests of his people, he will probably not show it.
