Master Zen-Dao Meow (or MZDM) was a website (found at http://www.masterzdm.com) that had an ongoing comic and forum, but the special thing about the forum was the community. Everyone who posted in the threads were known as "Psychedelic Avatars", and some of us were honored with our own cards!
I'll talk more about MZDM in a future submission, but here's a little history of my very first avatar card.
Brahma came to be on September 9, 2001--two days before the attacks on 9/11. I'd like to think the MZDM community helped me keep it together, because those days were trying times for us all.
Anyway, Brahma would prove to be my introduction into the furry fandom, as I discovered my friend Kensaro was a member of an online chat called FurryMUCK.
The rest was history.
Brahma was a lost soul in the multiverse, and he would inevitably find himself reunited with his twin, but for now he was trapped in an alien realm, and discovered many aspects about himself. One of which was not very pleasant, but more about that tomorrow.
Brahma's ambition for his profile was:
"To see all there is to see! To do all there is to do! And finally, to get home."
On an alternative note, the picture you see was when he thought he needed to wear armor. Turns out he didn't really need it, since he was invulnera-BULL.
The art was done by a Mister Schaefer, and was one of the last cards he would do for MZDM, I believe. Neat-o!
(And hey, FA! Why not give minotaurs their own slot in the exotic species? COME ON!)

Adrian knows a thing or two about being lost. Hopefully Brahma will return someday.
Funny enough that story about how you got into furry. I was aware of the fandom for quite some while before becoming a Guardian, but didn't really get into it until I joined Gaming Guardians and started speaking to the furry friends of yours who were active participants in the game; Taross Blackburn & the like.
It's been a fun and crazy wild ride since those days, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for that, Greg.

I vaguely remember this guy. I never roleplayed on MZDM but I was a lurker who loved reading some of the roleplays.
My favorite characters were Shaper Geneson (Adorable Woobie kangaroo), Salen Stormwing (Funny character) and Kei Kittora (Really cool design).
I kinda regret not joining in on the fun, mainly cause I was a socially awkward teen at the time and was ostracized at most forums I went to. That and I didn't know a whole lot about roleplaying. It's a shame MZDM is gone, it would've been fun to join it.
