Other comments: Iggi is an artist who not only does gorgeous pieces, but is also a very friendly and approachable person. Emails were replied to promptly, and all my questions regarding the commission were clarified. Commission prices are very fair for the high quality of work produced. I highly recommend Iggi as an artist to be commissioned =P

Been in two pictures done by Iggi, but personally commissioned one of them. Showed up early on the first day at Anthrocon, knowing I wanted to commission her, but I, of course, was being spontaneous and unprepared, so didn't have any solid ideas for a commission. She graciously reserved one of her commission spots for me until I had an idea and references in hand. Result was great, mailed promptly on completion after the convention in a stiff protective envelope in perfect condition.

Reasons for non perfect scores (aka other comments): There was a mistake in the inking that was fixed with whiteout. The received picture was near perfect to description, a few small incorrect features, but I didn't have good character sheets at the time. There was no time frame other than after the convention, and had to wait some time for Iggi to return home (and do some other travelling, if I'm remembering correctly...)

I can't recall ever having problems when we have worked together. You are polite and respond quickly to any questions I may have, as well as if changes can be made, you ask them at the correct time.

Professionalism: 10. Given I asked for more changes and whatnot than outlined in your policies, everything was definitely handled professionally. The whole point of being a professional is both sticking to an agreement and occasionally stepping outside of it so long as it doesn't inconvenience either party too much to make everything go smoothly, and that's exactly what you did.
Expected Quality: 10. The samples were a very accurate representation of the quality I was expecting.
Ease of communication: 8. Since you're a very visual person, trying to get a commission done from text only was a bit difficult - using GIMP to do some examples here and there helped quite a bit, but if anything, working on becoming more proficient at visualizing a text description in your head could be helpful in the future. (This might not be possible, thinking on how difficult it could be, but still.)
Timely Response: 10. I was actually surprised at how quickly things went along. I kept getting replies to messages in 30-90 minutes.
Followed Guidelines and Procedures: 9. You ended up drawing a moving target very well; sorry I changed things around so much! This was an exercise for me, I suppose, given I haven't commissioned art in a long time, but you followed along very well. The only times you deviated from your process, like I mentioned before, was to keep things moving along smoothly, and even then it wasn't so much that it seemed to get in your way a whole lot (though that's up to your own decision).
Completion Time-frame met: 10. If I remember correctly, it only took you three(?) days to finish once you'd started, while I was expecting to end up waiting over the weekend.
Prices: 10. The base price of your work is definitely fair, as are the extra fees for things like not having reference art and such. Given I've seen prices ranging up into the hundreds of dollars for a single piece, your art is a very good value.
Overall rating: 9, with the sole issue we really had being trying to get the details down via text.

Other Comments: Using a 1-10 scale feels a little stiff for a pro/con thing. Other than that, you don't seem to have that glazed-over approach to your work. I've had other artists who I was looking at commissioning just toss back responses that sounded like they weren't at all interested in what I'd actually said, just jotted down a canned response to "the same questions they always ask", leaving out bits and pieces of questions. In short, keep putting attention and effort into your customers. It's a hugely appreciated thing.

You were very professional and exact with what you wanted, which is good, but very daunting for me, especially with commission type (ref sheet). Though you were never rude about wanting changes, I often felt like you were cold because you were very serious and exact. It didn't upset me, but I suppose I moreso found it unusual, few people are so straight to the point I wasn't sure how to handle it. So it made, at least on my part, feel strange communicating with you. My only thing, since most artist seem to be visual in nature, describing things with degrees and angles (numbers) is harder to comprehend than a picture similar to what you want. Overall, I enjoyed working with you, and now that I am beginning to understand the way you think, I would love to work with you again.

Yeah, sorry about the tone of voice - I was trying to be as precise as possible so as not to be confusing, but I should have gone more for relative measurements than static ones. When I wrote the description up I figured relative things would be too flimsy and subjective. Of course it turned out to be pretty much the exact opposite. :P

I might just be weird. Maybe just ask an artist if it comes to something similar. *shrug*

At one point the cost of a reference commission was mistakenly given as far less than was intended, but I would hardly call this a problem, I was happy to reply with my concerns of the cost and had it corrected quite quickly.

From starting the commission to finishing is quicker than almost any other artist I have commissioned no matter how complicated or detailed it is. Completion Time-frame met: 10 - I can't recall giving Iggi a deadline. I gave her all the time she requires to complete my commissions. (Giving an artist extra time makes the artist comfortable without worrying about a deadline. And it shows in the artwork).
Prices: 10 - The prices are very fair to each certain art mediums, and are worth it for the quality at the final results. (While the prices are sometimes hard to accommodate when they're people that are in the unemployment line, the prices are worth the high quality art style).
Overall rating: 10 - In terms of the quality of the art, the time frame and communication with the artist...this is an artist that you have to commission! (Seriously, she's worth hiring)!

Other comments: These are just very minor complaints. Aside from the marker bleeds in my marker commissions, there's like an black ink mark on my Polar Bear's bang hair from my recent commission. But like I said, these are just very minor complaints. The Pros overweight the Cons. I'm satisfied to be one of Iggi's commissioners. :)
