Anti-Drama Llama Movement NewsletterEXTREME RISK!!! -
These are furs in the FA community that have already lost their home and are currently homeless, or are in very desperate situations and are very close to losing everything. While some may have found temporary relief or gotten other support, they are still currently in very dire situations.
These folks will be the recipients of funds raised in the next raffle (providing they still need them).

With very little income from her husband's disability benefits, every little bit counts to help her, her husband, and son get financially stable and get a new, and larger, home.

MunkArt, despite his Lupus. Still could use support to help with bills and illness.]
Nekonorai - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/660769/ [Has secured a home that he is living in which is also the home for several other furs without homes. His shelter deserves all the help we can give.]
Stripes_Roshal - http://www.furaffinity.net/user/stripesroshal [While Stripes was originally set to be a recipient in the February Raffle of 2009, he graciously stepped down when things took a turn for the better. However, he was recently jipped on rent by a roommate and has lost the house he was renting. Now living with his Aunt, he is looking for a new home and will be using the proceeds to help with that. His situation arose very recently, so time will tell if things work out.]
In Need of Life Changes -
The following FA members (and some ex-members) are furs that need help, but not in a financial sense. They are in dire straights and situations like the other Extreme Risk members, but donations won't be able to help them since they have received funds before and have not been able to climb out of their situations.
However, since the Movement does not shun anyone for any reason, we still want to help these people. Whether they have caused drama in the past or present is irrelevant. What matters is helping them get on track to building themselves a good and happy life. If you happen to run into them, treat them with kindness and respect as they are people too.
I'm hoping that with the help of good friends, some caring individuals, and being pointed in the right direction that they'll be able to get themselves out of their jams and get back on track.
Allan - Has joined the US Military after being kicked out of house and home and living in a homeless shelter in New York City for a while.

However, as is the policy of the movement, I do not judge anyone for any reason. Whether they got into a pickle through actions of their own or not is irrelevant.
My goal is that by contributing to these furs in need, they will use the donations wisely to help themselves get into a better living situation, or learn from their mistakes and not make them again. If they still continue to get into pickles through actions of their own after receiving extensive help, then I would have no choice but to remove them. So far, this movement is still young and only time will tell if this is the case for anyone on the list.
My personal belief is that everyone deserves a chance at happiness. The movement can't support any one person all of the time, and we do not expect that to happen. Still, it can't hurt to at least keep track of who is in need of what and where.

Except for the fact that the one commission I've gotten this entire year did get me out of the red, and currently I've got $9.50 in my bank account. Unfortunately that won't be for too long, as my bank account takes out 8 dollars a month for service fees. |3
I am looking for work, albeit, admittedly, not as heavily as I was at the beginning of the year. It's very hard when funds are very limited and I live up in a mountain, almost an hour away from civilization, and everywhere I've applied to has outright rejected me, and most don't even give me the benefit of an interview. So I've slowed down in my searching due to frustration and lack of gas money.
But, I'll be honest, while I appreciate the gesture, I don't think I'm deserving of the raffle money (if I understand the concept properly). I'm more than willing to work for any money I make, hence why I'm offering commissions.
Iunno, that's just my personal opinion. :P
I appreciate the gesture though. :3 Any and all help is appreciated, even if it's just getting my name out there, letting people know I'm willing to work for whatever I deserve. *nods*

I seriously don't see myself worthy for this, as I believe there are people out there in the fandom (and elsewhere) who're far more deserving than me for this.

And I've seen the boonies before. Being out in the middle of nowhere can be very...
...daunting.
But still, if money to either pay bills or get gas to get your butt to a job interview will come from the raffle, then I say go for it!
Besides, it's important to me to make sure everyone that's a part of the Movement gets out of their jams and into a better living situation.

I'm not sure what else we can do, but don't forget to also check out the local groups based on region to find help from local furs. Also, check any and all social services and legal options available near you.
