Is anyone else excited that RF5 is getting same sex romance after all in the Western release? They're even patching it into the original Japanese copies. This has made it an instant buy for me next year since I get to play it the way I've wanted to by romancing the people I want to (guys obvs). This is really exciting and am so looking forward to everything this game has to offer. ^^

Can't speak for Rune Factory (never played the series), but as a bi guy myself, I'm glad gaming in general is slowly but surely opening up to this sort of thing. You know things are looking up when Nintendo of all companies are including same sex options in their recent outings. Sure, they could be better (Claude, Caspar, Felix, my beloved. Love me my fight-hungry warriors and rugged rogues!), but it's nice to see even them improving.
