I think, if you've been reading along with us, that you know who the Princes of Calico are, so i didn't give them a bio. I can, if it will help, though.
This is a brief summary of events that have already happened in the comic:
In the news, the Second Prince of Calico, Arjuna, has been arranged to marry the Second Princess of Kitwa, Amarah. It is very unusual for royals to be wed to one another, so this is a big deal.
Sweetheart's nemesis, Brandy, put in an application to join the Calico City Consumer Competition that is scheduled to take place during the Festival of Return, on behalf of the Sweet Shoppe. She did this, because it puts the Sweet Shoppe girls in direct competition with Brandy's Place girls. Sweetheart has no desire to compete, but with this entry, she has no choice.
Part of joining the festival as a restaurant establishment, is having a stall and offering samples of your goods. This is going to be tedious, because they have to bake a lot of food in a very short amount of time, as Brandy conveniently "forgot" to relay the information to Sweetheart until the eve of the event.
One of the highlights of the competition is a beauty contest and a talent contest. Managers are not allowed to compete, so Sweetheart and Plum cannot join. They have to watch their stall, anyway. It's up to the other girls, Sugar, Candy, Tange and Mint to represent the shop. As Mint is the oldest of the four and the most shapely, she has been picked to handle the beauty pageant.

Tali says she'd like to help with the beauty pageant...
She's welcome to join, but something tells me she'd join Brandy's team rather than Sweetheart's. ^_^

I'll see if I can squeeze her in on the panel ^_~

Yup, but not as dramatic as the last one. I promise, this will be more light-hearted. ^_^

I hope so!
Interesting setup! Now is this a comic plot too?
The summary up there is the plot of the first comic issue. What I'll be sharing going forward is story from following issues that have yet to be illustrated, as well as anything that pops into mind.
Wonderful
