Ay! this is largely here just to push the other journal off my front page xD BUT! Also wanted to share what me and a group of friends did over the past three days.

We participated in the Ludum Dare 49 game jam! created a game in the span of roughly 72 hours (from 5pm CST on Friday to 5pm CST on Monday, though most of us only had until Sunday at midnight, but that didn't stop last minute fixes and changes to be made right up until the bell XD). But yea! obviously the game is short, it's not robust, it's rather simple. But considering the time frame of it's creation, I'm rather proud of it. Think we did a really good job, especially considering a lot of use coughmecough haven't touched game development in a decent chunk of time. Was nice to get back in the swing of things, so yeah. By all means give it a look, give it a play if your willing to download it. As I said, it's short, like, maybe five minutes, but it's solid, to me at least. Hope those that try it get a little bit of fun out if it, cause I know I actually do when I load it up XD fphehe.
But yeah, that be all, outside of the fact that I'm looking to move in a month. aaaaaa, but that's coming together decently well. So yea! Hope all keep on keeping on!

I always love myself a bit of bullet hell, and dodging in and out of the golems attack patterns was a lot of fun. Pretty frantic too when you also have to balance your health bar as a mechanic. That is such a cool idea to punish you for having too much health, though I think the hilarity of the spell misfires that causes still makes it worth it. I simply adore the upbeat feel-good music too, and the magic rock puppies are simply adorable. Do those have a name? I wanna adopt one!
Great job on that, you and your team! It definitely brought me some fun and some awws and also a dose of hectic "Come on come on! I can do it! I can do it!"
Really happy you liked all the mechanics and found it fun to run around and fight the golem ; v ; honestly our enemy designer kinda went above and beyond, some of the back end stuff could have been done better, but it was all made to function in the end so not complaining to much >//> fphehe. Our music and sound creator did a fantastic job with that as well I must agree, really glad you like all the facets of it ; v ; . Don't think we ever came up with a proper name for the doggo's though, we were too busy DAWWWwwing and calling them adorable to call them anything but doggo's XD but I would like them too! I want like seven! even if they do explode ; v ; fphehe. Also yeah, I kinda adore what we came up with for spell miss-fires, so is fun to have those happen as much as it is to be able to shoot your proper spells ; v ; fphehe.
