Hello! It's been...a year! Since I made one of these. Literally the last one I made was when I finished my Spring cleaning last year...something I'm now planning on doing this week, should I be granted the strength to do so.
Main reason I'm making this journal is to me doing a LOT of housekeeping today. Instead of doing direct backlog cleaning (though I might still try and get something out 'real quick', we'll see), I figured I'd start this spring cleaning week off by 'doting all my i's and crossing my T's'. By which I did a MASSSSSIVe overhaul to my starter guide which you should go check out! :3. I moved it all over to Toyhouse (thanks again to
KisuComposer for a key, I very much appreciate it ; v ; ) so there isn't just massive paragraphs of text just sitting there, and so it all actually fits in one journal now! XD Also updated a lot of the summaries with recent events as well (though there's still likely a big gap in a lot of them...I need to go through each one and make sure they are all 'caught up', but that's a problem for another day I think XD), so at least a decent chunk of them should be accurate now!
I also re-arranged all my folders and re-named them/added new ones for upcoming characters. Now they are more organized based on character relationships verses 'just how much I like them I guess?'. So it feels a lot more 'organized' to me :3. Hope it helps people navigate my stuff and the eclectic world I've created XD.
Beyond that...well, I've continued on keeping on. My part of the company got sold to another one, that merger is still happening, but I still have a job knock on wood so while the benies are worse, the pay isn't, so I'm sticking with it cause HAHAHAHAHA America right now. Been trying to ignore that as much as possible/hope my state just does everything it can to ignore it (apparently there's a decent number within my states gov that are pushing to basically put policies in place that ignore the orange man, hoping the best for that cause boy do we rely on Canada a lot and boy do I not want to just pay more for things for no good reason. That or we just succeed into Canada....I know they aren't the best thing ever but they aren't currently actively imploding so I'd take it over this crap XD). BUT, yeah, just doing the 'personal stuff' and trying to keep on keeping on, I feel fortunate I'm at least in a state with a brain, feel bad for the many that are stuck in areas that aren't...
But just gotta keep trucking forward, and thankfully at least in my personal life it's been going as good as it's ever been the past half decade or so. Parents moved back up here to be closer to me/in a better place, as stated I still have a job that pays me well (at least so long as the dollar stays an actual currency hahahHAHAHh weeps), my living situation is infinitely more stable and a lot of things have been worked through, as well as my ability of locomotion (car stuff) improving drastically.
So I'm living ovob Playing a lottt of Darktide cause it's super fun (quit Destiny 2, guess that's noteworthy. Just isn't a game I like anymore/is going in a 'brain dead' direction I don't jive with despite the decade I put into it), trying to write as can be seen, and now walking now that spring is doing it's best to exist where I live XD. A true 'this is fine' meme moment, everything's on fire but I'm sipping water and existing. Got my B day coming up, not exactly anything planned besides this week off work and a lot of writing, but should be nice. Just keeping the temperament as 'stable' as I can, and doing what I can to push things to improve ovob.
I wish all that have gotten this far the ability to weather the coming future, and to be able to get their own pockets of joy and happiness. If this all has proven anything, it's that what's around you is truly what's important. Keep those you care about close, get to them or pull them to you if you must, as it's all about 'keeping afloat' with those that matter to you. A shields only as good as those behind it, gotta make sure one can take all the punishment, and protect the bits of joy they can continue to appreciate ; v ; b . May we all get through and be able to laugh about it much, much later!

But good to know! I tend to like fiddling with things in my own time, but should I run into any issues I'll keep you in mind :3
The game just actively doesn't want you to play it at this point, and while I'll cherish a majority of the memories it gave me, the fact I can't even go back and experience them again (because they delete all their content like actual morons) is just another death nail in the coffin. The old studio has been completely replaced at this point, and the one that's left is just bad. The old music is gone, the story is literally never coming back, and with Final Shape finally wrapping everything up, it's the best time to just stop, and finally get off the hamster wheel, and actually enjoy life again xD.
