Update and such
Sometime around last year September, I purchased a used drawing tablet from eBay in the hopes of getting into digital art/media. And while I did, I stopped around a few months ago and went back to the basics. Traditional. Bought some art books and such and I've been practicing the curriculum of them. Though not regularly (consistency is important!), but that's because life and work and not making the time for it are a factor, but hey, I'll get there... one day. It's all good.
More on digital stuff: I gotta say that digital art/media got some mf hands. Imho, half the battle is which ever art program you use works for you (I use Krita), and how it works, and being a tech whiz at the thing - which I am most certainly not - and having a good grasp on the fundamentals of art. Hence going to back to the drawing board - literally. My utmost respect to y'all that are passionate enough and successful with it; you make it look so easy!
Other than that, while a lurker of sorts, I pop out of my hole in the ground to comment, favorite, shout, and whatnot. Recently bought a character of which I like very very much, and I got plans for her~. So, without saying it officially: I can confirm/deny that I may or may not be more active here - I hope to be. The more active I am here, the more you'll find out about me. Mostly through journals, I think, maybe art, but that's if I gain the confidence in skillset to post any (this comes with practice, Tilker).
Moreover I'm making an official OC. It's hard to, considering that my artistic skills are much to be desired and if I can actually decide on color scheme, pattern (if any), the design itself and the horns I wanna give it. Clue for you about it: Noodle, that is all.
Life is good and is continuing on that course.
I've been here for over a year, and I gotta say I'm enjoying the atmosphere, art, and the people. It's quite nice.
I'm Tilker. This is my first journal. Please be nice to me. <3
