Unfortunately it seems so… like I commissioned an artist a while back, paid them $80 for it, then they just disappeared with mine and several other people… : /

Yeah I've been a victim of this as well >.> it really sucks when your patiently waiting like everyone t.o.s says and never do you see your commission.

Let's just say I'm a BIT more than $80 deep with one artist, and haven't seen a thing in over a year, and can't even get a reply from her at this point, not on here or Discord. And yet a friend just showed me a new journal from the artist from earlier today about selling some new prints. So.... Yeah.... Still unsure what to do at this point and I've been pulling teeth with ANOTHER artist for awhile to get a refund. *Sighs.*

Oh, yeah that's definitely worse than my situation, the artist that screwed me over, to the best of my knowledge, just disappeared from the internet entirely without warning. I imagine I'd be pretty upset if they started just selling stuff again without making an effort to fix things >_>

I ain't really "back", but thank you. I've been focusing on other things this year, but have had two things I've not been able to ignore, and being fucked over and even blocked is something that just pisses me off. As an artist, if you owe someone art or a refund, and you KNOW it, how "reputable" is it to just ignore that person for a year, or another just running around the fence with excuse after excuse why something can't be done? I had one that said "I can do this now, then this ever two weeks", and yet by the third week there was nothing more, and the other just denies my existence, and their partner blocked me and they were the ONLY way I had to get any information about the artist. So yeah, nothing personal to any friends reading this, but fuck it. People like that give honest artists a bad reputation, and I'm sorry for that.

Funny! I said the Exact same thing about the person that took me for the price of getting 2 suits commissioned and you defended them.....
