Hey, everyone!
Let me start off by saying thank you all for your support in both "Cutting Corners" and "The Kenpei Chronicles." It's been a great ride on both projects so far and I can only hope things will only get better from here. And with that, here's my annual update report for my works! ^^
All "Cutting Corners" fans will be happy to know that I have started work on the second season. I have a story arch for the entire season planned out that is rather prominent with the main plot of the entire series. However, I do not wish to post any new episodes until the first week of November for two reasons:
1) I hate shows when the season premiere is in the middle of the month rather than the first! ><
2) The birthday of the characters creators is in that month, so it would only be right for the season premiere to be then! ^^
And after talking to
Ko-Koa about it, I have decided to do something I originally had planned for C.C., but realized it would be seen more as a filler arch than actual story involvement.
I'm giving Razul his own mini-series. XDDD
It's gonna be called "Razul's Wish." It will take place in the two weeks between seasons 1 and 2, and will reveal a bit more of Razul's back story to aid with what I have planned for the "Cutting Corners" series in whole.
And as for "Shuuban," progress is indeed being made on the domain page of the soon-to-be RPG. Hopefully it will be open and ready to accept new members by the time "The Kenpei Chronicles" is finished. Which brings me to my question:
All of the forth-coming events in the "Shuuban" RPG will technically take place a year or two after "The Kenpei Chronicles." I'm asking this question to you - the fans and hopefully potential members - if I should still write stories that take place within the "Shuuban" universe that could be inspired by the roleplay the site might birth. If I do, I would more than likely use certain members characters within the segments after taking the time to study personalities and whatnot.
Anyways, just a curious question. Answer if you like as usual. Once again, thanks for your support and your friendship. I look forward to the future! ^^

FA+

Subject the second: Razul ... oh my. It would be interesting to see him with character development, but somehow he pulls off the laidback attitude well. Whatever becomes of him, I have a feeling his mini-series will become very popular.
Subject the third: Personally, I feel like you should write wherever the pen (er, keyboard?) takes you. If you are inspired by the RPs, well it's not like people are copyrighting what they post anywhere else, or that you are making money off of the ideas generated therein. I don't see why it would be too problematic - save if someone took issue with you utilizing their character. In which case, all they have to say is "please don't" and that's the end of that. I would think, though, that anyone would be honored to be included in the great works of Shenlong Bi Kenpei!
cant wait till college...
Cant wait to see where you take the characters.
This is gonna be fun!
Also, as far as "Shuuban" goes! Sign me up! I love that stuff!
